YOU DID IT! BECAUSE OF YOUR GENEROSITY, WE NO LONGER HAVE A WATER CRISIS ON OUR HEALING HUB CAMPUS.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED!
Thanks to the generosity of several corporate sponsors and more than 200 individual donors, we raised $200,014 toward last year’s capital campaign goal of $240,000.
These contributions allowed us to:
-Build a new well, which is now providing water to our two group homes and every other building on the Healing Hub campus
-Repair a backup well, helping ensure that we will not face another crisis like last year’s, when water had to be hauled in each week
-Expand our children’s outdoor retreat center with a covered pavilion, fire pit, and surrounding seating. We hope to continue developing this recreation area so our children and staff can spend even more time together enjoying the outdoors.

Fixing the well is urgent—but it’s also an opportunity. A new well will not only restore safe, reliable water, it will also allow us to build a small garden on the property. Here, children can nurture life, grow food, and heal through therapeutic, hands-on activities.
In over 25 years at just these 2 houses, GAP has cared for 1400 children and teens. SPLASH 1 has been open since 1999, but we’ve only had SPLASH 11 since 2011. In the next 25 years, these two houses will easily provide care for another 2000 children. In total, the SPLASH* Foster Care program has served over 4,400 children since 1999 at all our houses. Children at all of our SPLASH homes will benefit for years to come from this capital campaign.
