GAP Ministries is a proud partner of the Tour de Tucson!
Arizona residents, did you know you can help children and families with your state tax dollars?
The Arizona Foster Care Tax Credit allows you to give up to $526 (individual taxpayer) or $1051
(couples filing jointly) and receive a dollar for dollar credit against your state tax liability. Rather than
ride for our organization, let your tax credit dollars make a huge impact!
GAP cares for 270 foster children and teens each year, and provides programs to strengthen their families so they can be
successfully reunited when possible. But we want to do more than just meet the needs of these precious children. It is our
desire and goal to break generational cycles of poverty and abuse.
This is accomplished through programs like our GAP Kitchen, preparing 1000 meals weekly for low-income children and
others, the Community Warehouse, providing food and basic needs items to thousands of struggling families in our
community, and Career+, helping individuals find good paying jobs to provide for their families.

Review Your State Tax Liability
Look at last year’s state tax return to see what your state tax liability was. That is the amount that you may give as a tax credit at no cost to you! If your situation hasn’t changed, the amount should be similar. On Form 140 its line #46, 140EZ line#9, and 140A line #21.
