Today, GAP Ministries is in the midst of one of those defining moments.
The Opportunity
Two Acres. One Vision. 60 Days.
Last week, we learned that the two acres directly east of the GAP Ministries property are available for purchase. This adjoining property could significantly expand our ability to bring help, healing, and hope to communities throughout Southern Arizona.
But there is one major challenge. The window is very short:
$2.6 Million — 60 Days to Raise the Funds
We approached the property owners and respectfully asked whether they might consider donating a portion of the property, reducing the price, or allowing additional time to raise the funds.
Their answer was no.
We understand and respect that they are businessmen with responsibilities and obligations of their own. They have been clear and straightforward with us, and we are grateful that we were made aware of this opportunity.
Normally, this would be the point when we stepped back and concluded that the opportunity was simply beyond our reach… BUT GOD.
Sometimes a closed door is not God telling us to abandon the vision. Sometimes it is God calling us to seek another way forward.
Sometimes hearing “no” awakens the faith, generosity, and unity necessary for God’s people to accomplish what no individual organization could accomplish alone.
“A wide door for effective service has opened to me.”
1 Corinthians 16:9
We can see God’s hand in this, and feel He is opening a door, but we need your help to walk through it.
Five Years Ago, We Saw the Vision
Five years ago, I stood on our property and declared in faith that the entire block surrounding 2025 East Highway Drive would one day become a tool in God’s hands to impact Tucson and Southern Arizona in an even greater way.
Today, the opportunity to purchase this adjoining property could be the first decisive step toward seeing that vision fulfilled.
That is why I am making an urgent and personal appeal to you.

We are not asking you merely to help GAP Ministries purchase land.
We are inviting you to invest in expanded ministry, transformed lives, and a lasting legacy of hope throughout Southern Arizona.
GAP Ministries has worked diligently to be a faithful steward of everything God has entrusted to us. As the ministry has grown, so has the need for space, resources, and capacity.
This property would provide room to dream bigger, serve more people, and prepare for what God may have ahead.
This is about more than two acres. It is about what those two acres could make possible.

Ask God to provide miraculously.
Ask Him to give us wisdom.

We believe prayer must come first.

The need is urgent. But we believe God is already preparing hearts and assembling the people who will help make this vision a reality.
