Everyone needs a little help sometimes—and that’s what the Community Warehouse and 05 Market are here for.

Whether you’re stretching your grocery budget, or simply need a bag or two of food this week, we want to welcome you. No forms, no hoops, and no judgment. Just come as you are.

We are located at Prince and I-10. Shoppers can pick out free food in the Community Warehouse portion of the store, and shop for discounted groceries in the 05 Market.

Free food varies with what we receive each week, including produce, bread, snacks, meats and cheeses, and even fresh flowers. There are limits to how much you can take, but you can come back every day we are open.

If you would like more than what you found in our free food area, check out the items on the other side of the warehouse. The 05 Market is a discount grocery store with pantry staples, produce, meats, cheeses, canned goods, and much more. We take cash, credit cards, apple pay, and EBT cards.

12 Market at Treasures & More

The 12 Market is now open at Pima and Craycroft inside Treasures & More Resale Store. The need is great throughout Tucson and we want to help those on the east side with our brand new 12 Market Discount Grocery Store. We sell many of the same items as the 05 Market, and we take cash, credit cards, apple pay, and EBT cards. The 12 Market is not able to offer free food because of our current capacity, but we will Occasionally have items to give away.

How often can I come?
You can come once/day, every day we’re open (see above).
What’s free and what’s discounted?
Free food is only available at the Community Warehouse, located at 1994 W Weymouth Rd. It depends on what we have available, but typically fresh items (fruit, veggies, dairy, etc.) are free as available. Discount Grocery items can be purchased at both the 05 Market and the 12 Market. They include pantry staples, frozen foods, and other groceries, all sold at a steep discount.
What should I bring?

A box or bag to carry your groceries home.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, debit/credit cards, and EBT (food stamps).
Where does the food come from?

We receive weekly donations of perishable food from grocery stores, and community partners. We also purchase pantry items in bulk at a discount, so you can get the lowest price.

Why do you offer this service to the community?
Food is essential and there are far too many people struggling to purchase needed groceries to feed their family. We believe God has called us to care for people who are hurting because He cares for them. Click here to learn more about how we break cycles of poverty and abuse.
What happens if you run out of food?
Because donations change each week, limits may apply to make sure everyone gets something. If an item runs out, check back later in the week (follow us on social media – link above) as our inventory is always changing.
How can I support the Community Warehouse, 05 Market and the 12 Market?
Shop, give financially and/or volunteer. Every hour and every dollar helps keep shelves stocked and our community fed. We would also love for you to spread the word! We love when people take and post videos about us on social media.

More than a market

The 05 Market is part of GAP’s 20,000 square foot Community Warehouse, which runs almost entirely on volunteers. Every week dozens of people — from high school students to retirees, church groups to local businesses — serve together to keep food moving in the hands of families who need it.

Some ways volunteers help:

  • Stocking shelves and assisting shoppers
  • Sorting donations and repackaging bulk goods
  • Making bouquets, bagging pet food, or preparing meals for the volunteer team
  • Driving trucks or forklifts to pick up food across Tucson
