Career Training for the Unemployed & Underemployed
Many in our city struggle to find stable work because of past mistakes or lack of opportunity. GAP’s free Career Plus program helps underemployed and unemployed men and women build job skills, receive mentoring, and gain the tools they need for long-term success. Your church can connect individuals to training that leads to dignity, independence, and a new life!
Discount Grocery Stores & Community Warehouse
Food insecurity touches nearly every church community. The 05 Market provides free and greatly reduced groceries and high needs items to families who are struggling to make ends meet. In addition to spreading the word about this resource with your church family, your church can help by purchasing 05 Market gift cards to give away, hosting collection drives, or serving together in the Warehouse.
GAP Kitchen
GAP Kitchen is led by Tucson’s own Iron Chef Champion, offering catering for events of any size and budget. Every order supports our mission—funding thousands of meals each week for children, seniors, and families across Southern Arizona. GAP Kitchen also houses our free Culinary Training Program, giving men and women a second chance through real job skills and certifications.
Job opportunities ministering to Children
Serving children in foster care is at the heart of GAP’s ministry. We are always seeking individuals and couples with a calling to minister to kids through house parenting, support roles, or overseeing family visitations. Encourage members of your congregation to prayerfully consider joining our team in this life-changing work.

Add GAP to your Missions Budget
When your church includes GAP in your local missions budget, you directly impact children, families, and individuals in crisis. Your support provides safe homes for foster children, meals for struggling families, job training for those seeking a second chance—and, most importantly, shares the love of Christ with those who are hurting.
Bring a group for a Third Thursday Tour
(with complimentary lunch)
Every month, GAP Ministries hosts Third Thursday Tours with a complimentary lunch. Pastors, staff, and congregants are invited to explore our 5-acre Campus of Hope, hear directly from program directors, and witness God’s work in action. These tours are a simple way to engage your church in local mission.

Host a Resource Booth at your church
Invite GAP to set up a booth at your church service or event. We’ll provide information on foster care, job training, food support, and more—along with slides or short presentations if desired. It’s an easy way to let your congregation know more about the need, and opportunities for serving children and families.

Commit to pray for our children, families, and staff each month
We simply could not continue the work we do without a team of prayer warriors. Philippians 4:6 instructs us to “pray about everything, tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.” We would love to invite you into this vital ministry. We have specific prayer requests each month that you can find here.
